Why You Won’t See My Gowns Here
At Sovereign Grace, every design is a labor of love and artistry. To protect the integrity of my work and ensure my gowns remain exclusive, I have removed all design images from public view.
Too often, original creations are copied without permission. I value my clients—and my craft—too highly to let that happen.
If you wish to access my gown designs, collaborate, or have me create exclusive pieces for your brand or clientele, here is how:
Purchase – Own the rights to individual designs for your collection.

The Federal Poverty Level Is Not Just Wrong.
It Is 60 Years Outdated.
And Millions Of Americans Are Paying The Price.
The Federal Poverty Level, FPL, is the number the government uses to decide who qualifies for survival level assistance.
SSI.
SSDI income limits.
SNAP.
Medicaid.
Housing assistance.
VA survivor pensions.
All of it flows from this number.
Here is how that number was created.
In the early 1960s, the government calculated the cost of a basic food plan.
At that time, food made up about one third of a household budget.
So they multiplied food costs by three.
That became the poverty line.
That formula has never been structurally modernized.
It has only been adjusted for inflation.
The foundation of federal poverty policy is based on a 1960s food budget assumption.
Food is no longer one third of household expenses.
Housing dominates.
Utilities have increased.
Healthcare costs have exploded.
Transportation is mandatory in most of the country.
Internet and phone access are basic economic necessities in 2026.
The economy changed.
The formula did not.
For 2025, the official poverty threshold for a single adult is about $15,650 per year.
That is about $1,305 per month.
There is nowhere in the United States where a single adult can realistically survive on $1,305 per month.
Not in a city.
Not in a rural county.
Not anywhere.
If you calculate a neutral national baseline by averaging the 10 most expensive metro areas and the 10 least expensive metro areas, you remove political bias and capture real regional variation.
Using that method alone, the poverty threshold should already be about $19,400 per year.
That equals about $1,617 per month.
And that still does not reflect full modern survival costs.
When you include real world essentials, housing, utilities, healthcare, transportation, communication, and inflation adjusted basics, the actual minimum survival income is closer to $40,000 to $50,000 per year.
That equals roughly $3,333 to $4,167 per month.
That is not luxury.
That is survival.
Now look at federal benefit levels.
SSI pays about $967 per month.
VA survivor pensions pay about $948 per month.
Many SSDI payments fall between $1,200 and $1,600 per month.
Those numbers are not random.
They are tied to a poverty metric built on a 1960s food multiplier.
If you anchor survival programs to an artificially low poverty line, you lock people into permanent financial strain.
The consequences are predictable.
Housing instability.
Utility shutoffs.
Food insecurity.
Delayed medical care.
Long term economic fragility.
This is not ideology.
It is math.
Inflation adjustments do not fix a broken baseline.
Scaling an outdated formula does not modernize it.
The Federal Poverty Level does not measure poverty in 2026.
It measures a mid twentieth century assumption about food costs.
We have modern cost of living data.
We have transparent economic tools.
We have the ability to measure poverty honestly.
If federal policy uses a number to determine who qualifies for survival level assistance, that number should reflect actual survival costs.
Right now, it does not.
And the gap between policy and reality is measurable.
