When I say @MTNNG is a fraudulent company people do not understand how much they have frustrated and stolen from Nigerians.

I went to bed with over 10GB data left in my MTN sim. I woke up this morning and nothing was left.

I quietly got another 20GB. Opened my Facebook app and published one post. Got ready and left for work.

I got to the office by 9 AM and my phone automatically connected to the office Starlink WIFI.

I spent about an hour there and left to get food. Got to the restaurant and when I tried to make payment, my bank apps could not open.

My WhatsApp messages could not deliver.

I kept on restarting my phone to see if it would work, all to no avail.

After spending several minutes trying while the ladies attending to me had lots of things running through their minds, I had to call someone to make the payment for me.

All these while, I never bothered to check my data subscription. I mean, I just bought 20GB this morning that I have not used for anything.

I left the restaurant believing that the network was just bad there. Surprisingly, far off on the road, my iTunes couldn’t also play.

I had to just check my data to be sure.

Lo and behold, the message I got was that I do not have active data bundle.

I’m angry oh, very angry. But my anger is not just for the fraudulent exhaustion of data by MTN but the sluggishness of our judicial system in this country. If it were not so, by now my court case against all these telecom companies should have already officially started.

But whether it takes 10 years or 20. I will follow it to the very end.
