A profound tragedy facing the Nigerian judiciary is the brazen and reckless takeover of the Federal High Court in Abuja by the lawless @OfficialDSSNG, who control the cause list, disparage lawyers and journalists during these sham trials, and yesterday during @MaziNnamdiKanu’s shameful trial they attempted to assault our cameraman after prohibiting us from attending to court matters, until we resisted.

Dr. S. M. Oyeghe, Esq, and J. A Ekwe, Esq., appeared for the Defendant/Applicant.

Matter for ruling on the motion for Bail.

Defendant/Applicant's motion for bail and Complainant's counter affidavit was adopted and argued.

Ruling:
There is no concrete evidence that the defendant will jump bail if granted.

Bail is accordingly granted in the following terms

1. N10Million naira and one surety in like sum.

2. Surety to depose to affidavit of means.

3. Surety to Present three years tax clearance certificate.
4. Surety to reside within jurisdiction of the court
5. Surety and defendant to deposit two recent passports.
6. Address of surety to be verified.

Matter adjourned to February 18, 2025 for trial.
