Yesterday, the men and women of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s Florida Task Force 1 (#FLTF1) arrived in Venezuela and began the next phase of their mission.

Deployed by the U.S. @StateDept as part of the U.S. response, our team immediately got to work upon arrival, boarding a bus and traveling to their assigned base of operations. There, they quickly established camp and began preparing to support ongoing search and rescue efforts alongside international partners.

Over the coming days, they will bring their expertise, compassion, and commitment to those impacted by this devastating disaster.
