People argue over who the villain is and completely miss the point. The real tragedy is that every attempt to force love destroys the very thing that makes love meaningful: choice.
I cannot stop thinking about The Odyssey.
The way Nolan managed to make the last 40 minutes recontextualize the entire rest of the movie was genuinely genius storytelling and a twist on the original story that I never expected.
The last thing I expected was for The Odyssey to manage to continue the themes of Oppenheimer in such a smart manner.
I am gonna try to watch this again next week but this time in 4DX, I really do think this is a movie that in a few years many people will wish they could have seen it in a cinema, thats me with The Dark Knight. Seriously a special movie and even if discussion on twitter is a bit drowned out by meaningless controversy, this movie will be looked back on as a classic that pushed the medium forward and one of Nolan’s best films.
this could also just be a camera trick which then roles around as jean leaves first and camera re-centres around wolverine.
I prefer your theory rather though lol.
Ok not sure if I'm going crazy here, but does this shot not totally confirm that Jean is gonna be playable?
Camera is locked behind her and Logan is holding the door open for her. #WolverinePS5
This Reddit post claiming THE ODYSSEY’s “real” Rotten Tomatoes audience score is 56% is making the rounds.
What they did was remove more than 7,000 verified ratings, calculate the score using the 886 unverified ratings left over, and then declare that tiny group the “real audience.”
Rotten Tomatoes has used Verified Audience as its default metric since 2019. Those people bought tickets and still chose to rate the movie. You can dislike Fandango prompting them...I do...but a notification doesn’t remove their agency or make their opinions fake.
You can’t throw out almost 90% of the ratings because they didn’t give you the result you wanted and call what remains the truth.
This isn’t exposing Rotten Tomatoes. It’s exposing the fact that you didn’t pass sixth-grade math.
Christopher Nolan understands something many filmmakers don't:
Spectacle gets people into theaters.
Ideas keep them talking after they leave.
His films give audiences both.
@purplelando just for clarification where are these numbers from? the data i have is stroll 39 - piastri 34
regardless stroll should have more given he had an easier line of opponents and piastri’s h2h stat is largely brought down by his rookie year against lando.
