The JPHL officiating model is setting the standard for grassroots development, in partnership with the BCHL to redefine the future of officiating. Grateful to the @BCHockeyLeague & @NHL for continued support and collaboration as our officials work across JPHL, BCHL, IIHF, PWHL, ECHL, AHL, and beyond.

As NHL Officiating’s Al Kimmel says, it’s no longer teams vs. officials, but a shared commitment to improving the on-ice product. We were proud to connect with Al at the Jaxon Joseph Tournament/BCHL All-Star Weekend, where JPHL and BCHL officials were on display as the next generation of pro officiating talent.

Once this happens, the CHL will essentially become a glorified Junior A hockey league, just like the USHL.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see some CHL owners sell their teams.

The JPHL and Titans Hockey Union are excited to announce that former Edmonton Oilers NHL player and longtime St. Albert resident, Chris Joseph, will Head Coach the 14U AAA team for the 2025-26 season.

Chris will also join the leadership and management team as the Titans continue to establish themselves as the only St. Albert academy offering for high level development and academics in the community.
