Bitterly disappointing start to the season for Milan. Emphasised that there is still a lot of work to be done by Allegri to get this squad performing at level required. Credit to Cremonese, bouncing back at Lecce on Friday night now becomes crucial.

Big 3pts for Arsenal to start the season, dug in from a defensive perspective while not showing enough quality going forward. Positive signs for Man Utd in attack, undone by a set-piece which emphasised glaring issue for them still between the posts. Entertaining game.

What a moment for Federico Chiesa. Cracking PL season opener, shame for Bournemouth...made a real game of that & Semenyo excellent. Game encapsulated current Liverpool set-up, goals, great attacking quality but can be vulnerable defensively. Very entertaining.

Thought PSG were poor for significant period of that game, credit to Spurs for containing them, staying defensively resolute & taking their chances. Excellent fightback in latter stages though. Almost a big night for Spurs to get going under Thomas Frank but positives to take.

Entertaining season curtain-raiser. Enjoyed watching Wirtz operate in particular in an enjoyable 1st half, credit to Palace for responses to get back level & win it. Liverpool going to be a treat to watch in attack, question marks over their defensive set-up/balance though.

Mad start to the NFL season, encapsulated in a wild win for the Giants. Some crazy Week 1 games, great to have it back especially when Saquon's looking good again & Daboll's making big boy calls. Big W.

Had to wait a longgg time & go through plenty of struggles, but Milan finally back on top. An unbelievable job from Pioli & his staff since being appointed, and a superb effort from the entire squad through setbacks and disappointments. Champions. ❤️🖤

This NFL offseason is madness. The QB moves, big-name WRs switching it up, some of these defenses that teams are building. Going to be a great season. Supporting the Giants will probably be pure pain again so some things don't change...
