The recent article officially released by BELIFT carries implications that disregard the contributions Heeseung made while he was still part of the group. His departure does not erase the work, effort, and impact he had during his time there, especially considering he remains under the same label that chose to publish the article.
It is basic fan etiquette to uplift one artist without diminishing another. Unfortunately, this is something the company itself failed to uphold. If we do not call this out now, it sets a precedent that this kind of treatment is acceptable, and it is not.
Fans should not have to repeatedly ask a company to show proper respect to their own artist, yet here we are once again.
Attached is an email template you may use to reach out to BELIFT. Silence is not an option when an artist’s contributions and rights are being disregarded.

Let’s make sure our voices are impossible to ignore because Heeseung deserves that and more.
BELIFT RESPECT HEESEUNG

Legendary has bought the movie rights to SenLinYu’s ‘ALCHEMISED’, a novel that was originally Harry Potter fan-fic.
• The original fan-fic followed a forbidden love between Hermione and Draco Malfoy
• It is the biggest ever acquisition for a book’s movie rights at $3M

If @wbgames listened to the fans of their IPs, they would understand why @HogwartsLegacy did so well.
It’s not 🚀 science!
Give LotR, GoT, HoTD, Batman and Superman fans their version of Hogwarts Legacy and you will be highly profitable.
Ignore the fans at your peril. @JBriac
After removing the catalog of artists distributed by Universal Music Group (UMG), it is now time for a second wave of songs to become unavailable on TikTok. This was due to the contract with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) not being renewed.
This second phase of removal covers tracks that were not released by UMG, but were written (or co-written) by composers contracted to UMPG. Among the songs already removed are those by artists like Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Adele, Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, SZA, Britney Spears, Anitta and Luísa Sonza.
A report from Music Business Worldwide suggests that the removals represent around 80% of the "relevant repertoire" on TikTok, while the company itself disputes that the UMG and UPMG catalogs combined represent between 20% and 30% of "popular songs", depending of the territory.
