Being positive has its limits.
You can’t be so positive that you fail to acknowledge difficult emotions during tough times.
Telling someone to look on the bright side is dismissive.
A healthier approach is to acknowledge and validate how they feel about their situation.

Please don’t revise history. Nobody was “forced” to be vaccinated.
Governments of all political stripes in Canada, and around the world made the best decisions they could to protect vulnerable people. Requirements are part of organized society.
Force means use of violence. This statement is untrue and harmful.
It is simple-minded to look at people with psychiatric illness, homelessness and drug use and think them lesser people. If you knew the abuse and trauma many of them suffered you would think different. Not everyone's father gave them a job and inheritance.

• we need more child psychiatrists and hospital beds for this to be conceivable.
•providing/offering resources is great but forcing kids into therapy and taking meds if they choose not to is doomed to failure and is unethical.
