Twenty-five years in the media and I've only just realised that the royal family are the only wealthy people in the country who don't have the cost of their homes routinely reported in newspaper articles - and I only noticed because they've started doing it to Harry & Meghan!
@Alichat66@BBCPolitics@BBCNews The country didn’t vote for no-Deal. Leavers didn’t campaign for no-Deal. If the referendum was ‘remain’ or ‘leave with no-deal’, it would never have gone through.
@Lenzar86@nickeardleybbc I think that is the point wrt Scotland. No Deal Brexit will cause a 2nd Scottish independence referendum. There goes the union...
@StandUp4Brexit What a lot of rubbish! People who voted to leave to supposedly get rid of the unelected officials in Brussels (who are actually elected), giving credence these ¨Lords¨ who have never been elected. The irony is astonishing.
@StephenFay20 @PrebenEUspox @EUCouncil@EP_President@theresa_may Your statement is ridiculous at best. You are against the EU because you believe that it poses a military threat to USA, China, and Russia? What evidence do you have to support your claim that the EU has threatened to use military force against any of the aforementioned nations.
@alexronald123@UKHouseofLords@HouseofCommons Not everyone who voted leave voted to leave with no deal. ´No deal´ was not on the ballot paper. This bill does not preclude the UK from leaving the EU.
@ExTory12 @M65964526 @UKHouseofLords@UKParliament@HouseofCommons The irony. A population voted to leave to ´take back control´ from unelected politicians in Brussels. Whilst the reality is the politicians in Brussels are elected, whilst the House of Lords which passed this bill today - are not.
@Phil662810 @Elsiehandle@cass_72@UKHouseofLords@HouseofCommons ´Leave means leave´ is such nonsensical prattle. Yes we voted to leave, but nowhere on the ballot paper did it say ´leave with no deal´. The truth is, ´leave´ means lots of different things to lots of different people.
