Watch this.
Burn it into your memory.
Bear the weight of his death as armor and wield it as a rifle against those who would deny and dismiss his sacrifice as mental illness. Bless this martyr, and carry his last words with your voice.
Free Palestine
I'm once again asking you to help a comrade out. @darboe_ism34761 is unable to work due to an injury and needs our help to keep his siblings and himself fed, house and in school, and transport to Senegal for medical aid. Please, no donation is too small https://t.co/43fkloxAfb
There are over 2 million people in the Gaza Strip, meaning this “emergency humanitarian aid” is less than 0.019 meals per person.
The United States is sending Palestinians scraps in hopes that we ignore the fact that they’re arming the entity starving them.
They used flour
They used flour as bait
They hunted and killed them like fucking animals
We will never never forget
The Israeli government is a terrorist state
My friends, they still needs our help. They need food, water and medicine, the latter they will have to go to Senegal to receive. Please, anything you can give would help greatly https://t.co/43fkloxAfb
This is going to be a daily tweet, at least once a day. I've lost kin to cancer, I've lost family to sickness, all because the government and our own communities wouldn't or couldn't help us. I won't stand silent while others suffer what I have or haven't suffered.
Please help @darboe_ism34761 get treatment so he can continue caring for his siblings and keep them in school. I mentioned his sister in my last tweet not realizing that she had passed already. Please help them. I'm so tired of everyone ignoring Africa https://t.co/43fkloxAfb

PLEASE HELP. @darboe_ism34761 and his siblings needs to get food, and transport to Senegal for medical aid for his brothers and sisters. His sister has cancer and they cannot even afford water or electricity. I'll be donating as soon as I'm paid next week. https://t.co/WOYYHHBPcU
His name was Cedrick Nianza… He shouted “Congo na nga, Congo na nga / My Congo, my Congo” as he self-immolated himself.
He couldn’t bear to see the genocides of his people continue. He did this to tell the world his Congolese people are suffering and still are.

The reason they’re citing “mental illness” is because they want to pathologize pro-Palestinian sentiment, not necessarily because they think he was “mentally ill.”
This makes it easier to institutionalize protesters.
