I've found that learning at least a few words in the language of the places you visit goes a long way in creating mutual respect. Perhaps a good place to start when thinking about the language barriers in science communication? #MAPPP9 @skasa_outreach

It has been fascinating co-designing projects with my colleagues from SKA AVN partner countries during the SKA AVN #MAPPP9 workshop - astronomy is on the move in Africa! #ExcitingTimes @skasa_outreach @creativeprojmgt

Second time doing a #MAPPP9 course (although a super condensed version) and it's fantastic how much I've been able to improve my understanding in just these 3 days #TrustTheProcess @skasa_outreach @creativeprojmgt
