#AtthePlaceofGhosts was ok, more of a drama than a supernatural thriller or a horror movie. Great story with themes of past trauma and a heavy focus on indigenous culture. Some cool ideas with time but ultimately not the right film for Halloween. My Rating 5/10 #reviews #movies

#Heresy was alright. Kinda retreads the same territory as 'The Witch'' but not as effectively. Wicked cinematography, production design and interesting premise but ultimately doesn't deliver and has some shitty CGI at a key moment. My Rating: 6/10

Had to forgo a movie last night and hit the #studio. Last of a Dying Breed Vol. III THE FINAL CHAPTER is on the way, expect it to drop next year. ♠️✌🏾 Nuff love to everyone following along with the #movies and my #music!

I was "hoping" to like #Hope a lot more. It has a really intriguing premise and some batshit crazy action but it's way too long, the shitty CGI really breaks the immersion and the twist at the end is random af. Enjoyed it for what it was but expected better. My Rating: 6/10

Saw #StreetFighter at the #cinema tonight and it was really fun. Lots of easter eggs, lore and nods to the fans. Characters were right out of the game. However it's really messy and the fights are not edited well. #ChunLi was the standout for me. My Rating: 6.5/10 #newmovies

#EvilDeadBurn Brutal, relentless, gory, a little too heavy on the CGI, a couple dumb moments and the weakest entry so far but still a decent one . I would have liked more inclusion of the Book of the Dead stuff. My Rating: 7/10 #halloween #31nightsofhorror #31nightsofhalloween

Lee Cronin's The Mummy was pretty insane. Interesting plot that basically turns into an evil dead movie. Wicked make-up and gore effects. A little long and the parents in this are idiots lol. Worth a check if you're a fan of the newer Evil Dead stuff. My Rating: 7/10 #halloween

#Pandorum is definitely an underrated gem. Very atmospheric, a mix of Alien and Event Horizon. The plot goes in a crazy direction I did not expect at all. A little cheesy but great practical effects and sets. My Rating: 7.5/10

#Bulbbul was way better than I expected. A great story and mad progressive for a Bollywood film but could have leaned a bit harder into the horror aspect. Some more kils would have been nice. My Rating: 8/10

Whistle

Wasn't that great lol. Cool concept that plays out like Final Destination. Shitty acting, story devolves into nonsense. There are some alright kills in this one though. My Rating: 5/10 #halloween #31nightsofhorror #31nightsofhalloween #spookyseason #horror
