210 palestinesi uccisi e 400 feriti per liberare quattro ostaggi israeliani. Una delle operazioni più brutali e sanguinose dell'esercito israeliano dal 7 ottobre.
Le prime pagine dei principali giornali italiani oggi:
What happened in Al-Nuseirat?
- An American force used an aid truck. The aid truck came from the American pier to Al-Nuseirat camp... (video and photo of truck)
- A clash erupted with the American force once it was discovered.
- Airstrikes were conducted on the Al-Nuseirat market, which was full of civilians, to create a path for the “rescue vehicle.”
This resulted in the massacre of over 150 civilians who were at the market.
- The force headed back to where it came from, the American pier, while the warplanes bombed everything in its path.
Relieved that four hostages have been released. It should not have come at the expense of at least 200 Palestinians, including children, killed and over 400 injured by Israel and allegedly foreign soldiers, while perfidiously hiding in an aid truck.
This is "humanitarian camouflage" at another level.
Israel has used hostages to legitimise killing, injuring, maiming, starving and traumatising Palestinians in Gaza. And while intensifying violence against Palestinians in the rest of the occupied territory and Israel.
Israel could have freed all hostages, alive and intact, 8 months ago when the first ceasfire and hostage exchange was put on the table. Yet, Israel refused in order to continue to destroy Gaza and the Palestinians as a people.
This is genocidal intent turned into action. Crystal clear.
Impaling prisoners with metal rods in their rectum is the last of the thousands horrors Palestinians have had to endure these past 8 months.
However, abuses, torture, mass killing, wanton destruction, have been the daily reality for the Palestinians under Israeli rule for over half a century.
Now everyone can see. Israel operates as a military dictatorship, committing all sorts of crimes including #apartheid to the aim of removing the Palestinians from their land.
It did not start on Oct 7.

@OriRubinOri Says the lecturer calling his students who protests “useful idiots” in his tweets reshares. Your profile is public, if you don’t want students to comment on it just make it private, but I guess blocking our voices is more useful!
@OriRubinOri Too bad that our universities cannot bring forward any collaboration with universities in Gaza as they have been bombed to the ground, and the teachers and students slaughtered. I wonder if Tel Aviv university with the Erez program has anything to do with it?
ALL EYES ON RAFAH.
The Israeli military has just carried out a massacre in Rafah. They bombed displaced families huddled in tents, killing over 35 people with more trapped in the flaming debris. The death toll is still rising.
We will never forget the images emerging from Rafah tonight. Human beings, including babies, were burned alive and torn apart. This genocide must end, it must end now.
More horror in the #GazaGhetto. The Israeli occupation forces have bombed a camp for displaced Palestinians in #Rafah, causing plastic tents to catch fire and tragically burning people alive. This cruelty, along with blatant defiance of the int'l law and system, is unacceptable.
The #GazaGenocide will not easily end without external pressure: Israel must face sanctions, justice, suspension of agreements, trade, partnership and investments, as well as participation in int'l forums.
What is daily life like for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank as Israeli settler violence continues to rise during the ongoing war?

Israel's reaction to the announcement by Norway, Spain, and Ireland, that they formally recognise the State of Palestine, shows again that Israel seeks annexation and permanent occupation over Palestine, as the lawyers for Palestine said in the ICJ on 19 February:
Biden likes to say that Israel is “the only democracy in the Middle East”. But Israel is not a democracy. Not by a long shot. In fact, it is one of the most undemocratic countries in the world.
Here’s the reality: there are 5 million people living within the borders that Israel controls who do not have the right to vote over the government that determines virtually everything about their lives, and whose human rights under international law are unenforced and regularly violated. On top of this, there are another 6 million people from that territory who are so completely disenfranchised that they have no rights within it at all, and have been rendered legally “stateless”.
So what’s going on here?
Well, apartheid. Now, a lot of people get hung up on the “apartheid analogy”, because when they think of apartheid in South Africa they think of segregation and unequal rights among citizens, and they say this sort of thing doesn’t happen in Israel. But in the academic literature, this is known as “petty apartheid”, and it was only a minor part of the apartheid system in South Africa. The real action – “grand apartheid” – had much bigger designs…
Grand apartheid was the process of reshaping the territory. The idea was to forcibly remove the Africa population from the majority of the country (literally bulldozing their houses and putting them into trucks) and dump them onto tiny chunks of land called Bantustans. Then you put a border around the Bantustan, give people “citizenship” there, give it a flag and a coat of arms, and set up a parliament.
Taking this approach – ethnic cleansing – the apartheid regime shoved most of the African population into enclaves comprising just 13% of the land, and denied them any rights of citizenship within the “white” territory. White people justified this by saying Africans had rights in their own “countries”, the Bantustans. But of course the Bantustans had no real power, no economic sovereignty, no independent militaries, etc. The apartheid regime controlled their borders and trade.
Israel has followed the “grand apartheid” playbook, chapter and verse. The Nakba began the process of shoving Palestinians off their land, out of their homes, and either (a) into the enclaves that today form Gaza and the West Bank, where 5 million people live within borders Israel controls, or (b) into neighboring countries where 6 million people live as stateless refugees. The process of ethnic cleansing continues today.
The result? 11 million people are hived off from the realm of rights within their own territory, and denied the right to vote over the government that controls it. Minority rule by Zionists is declared “democratic” only because it excludes the majority of the population. Calling this democracy is an extraordinary farce.
There is no democracy within apartheid. Apartheid must be abolished – it’s as simple as that. The 11 million must be free to return to their land and homes, and they must enjoy full rights of citizenship within a fully democratic polity, including the right to vote over the state that governs them. Apartheid must fall and we must fight until it does.

But not because of my students and their Palestine protests, because of police who body slammed me on the ground and arrested me for protecting kids.
And calls out New Hampshire Governor @ChrisSununu spreading misinformation about protests being antisemitic.
