We encourage all business and traders to attend and give their thoughts and opinions…whatever the underlying tones we need all to get together and push through our concerns.
We welcome this as an opportunity to enforce either way the confusing TRO that is near non existent.
We urge all to take time to submit their responses, do you want a traffic free town centre, or the existing 10 to 4..consideration needs to be in place for business access.

@Spalding2day This is great news, albeit a long time coming, just what’s needed to help the revitalisation of the town market place, market traders and encourage people back…hopefully in place in months and not dragged out.
Lots of comments, and agree with all, even if they are historical, overwhelming thing to say is use local trades as much as possible…footfall will help the long term success of the town, irrespective of shops, they all go hand in hand..it’s all about engagement with what we have
@SHollandDC@HeritageFundM_E@TransportedArt @EastMerciaRT @LincolnshireCC @HeritageLincs Brilliant news, along with the other funding announced let’s hope we can now build a destination to visit, shop and relax in…much work to do, but with the history of the town and river, we must encourage niche and new businesses to want to continue and invest in the town.
Visiting Spalding Market this morning❓ 🛍️
If you fancy a bite to eat - pop along and see Julie at the Sizzling Grill!🍔
Serving the customers of the market for more than a decade, people always come back for the great tasting food sold at reasonable prices.👍

@Spalding2day Such sad news, a true community spirited councillor, worked tirelessly for the town, Market, Retail, never one to take no for an answer. We will, like many miss her commitment..our thoughts with Alan and her family. RIP Angela.

What a cracking start to the day, and if in the town support the local traders, keep cool and enjoy a relaxed day..plenty of places to stop for drinks and refreshments. Keep the suncream to hand.
Wouldn’t it be great to get the sense of community involvement and pride back into the town again..it can happen, not as it was, but a new slant on, embracing our towns history and tradition…brilliant for High street retail. #footfall#spalding
