@MikeSonko Reading Genesis 10:25 shows that the world split. Which means in Noah's time the world was one land mass. Also Genesis 11 shows language diversification. Meaning at Noah's time there was one language. So continents, Asians, Americans, Africans came after Noah.

@KE_MrBlack During Noah's time the earth had not split up into continents. All the earth's population was in the middle east area. In Genesis 10:25 long after the flood is when the earth split. Shortly thereafter, languages also split as in Genesis 11.

Agribusiness represents incredible potential for Kenya. The sector accounts for about 40% of total employment in the country and 70% of all rural employment.

Agriculture contributes approximately 20% directly to Kenya's GDP and another 27% indirectly through linkages with other sectors.

These numbers should prompt reflection among all stakeholders. If Kenya is to achieve economic growth in 2025 and beyond, addressing challenges in the agribusiness sector would be a crucial starting point.

One encouraging development is the reduction in the average age of agripreneurs, which has dropped from 60 years to about 48 years. This indicates a growing influx of youth into the sector. This trend not only deserves encouragement but should also be prioritized as a key government policy direction.

We need more youth in agriculture to ensure the sector's future sustainability. Young people are more open to adopting modern farming methods and leveraging IT and AI to enhance productivity. If we can close 2025 with the average age of farmers at around 40 years, it would represent a significant leap forward for Kenya's economy.

But 3rd and most important is the technical stuff. How were the FMD and PPP dses chosen, by who? What are the logistics? Where is the budget coming from? And what about the wildlife reservoir for FMD...how was that context negotiated?

1st veterinary initiatives are best announced by the expert...the Director of Veterinary Services...who is likely to give appropriate context and justification. 2nd there is the COVID 19 vaccines and Bill Gates factor...people are wary around vaccines and around Gates.

Recently president Ruto announced the vaccination of all cows (approx 22 million) in Kenya against FMD and all sheep and goats (approx 50 million) against PPP. You would imagine stakeholders would be happy. But they are not. The messaging and communication hasn't worked.
