if you've ever wondered:
• what an aggregator is
• what a meta-aggregator does
• why they're valuable, and who they help
watch this
(h/t to @tehangekk for the clip)
every single swap now routes to the fastest, best-priced dex aggregator so you get the best swap quotes and most efficient trades!
thanks @spanDEXsh for the partnership 👏
spanDEX is live on @farcaster_xyz!

AUCTION #400 COMPLETE ✅
Winner = @_nonlinear 🏆
Winning Bid = $560

spanDEX is a free and open-source meta aggregator built by @_nonlinear
Check it out via @qrcoindotfun!
tbh i had no idea what a "meta-aggregator" was but after @_nonlinear won today's auction for attention @qrcoindotfun, i took a few minutes to learn.
3 things to understand: aggregators, meta-aggregators, and spanDEX.
AGGREGATORS: monitor liquidity across multiple DEXes to find the best prices for swapping, reduce slippage, and facilitate more complex swaps.
META-AGGREGATORS: monitor across multiple aggregators to offer similar benefits but one level higher, removing centralized risks of a single aggregator being down or broken or just worse compared to another aggregator.
(kinda wanna build a meta-meta-aggregator now)
spanDEX: is a fully customizable, developer-friendly, and open-source meta aggregator library. That means developers can inspect and contribute to the codebase, decide which aggregators to include, configure settings, and tailor the functionality to their specific use case.
wait, this is kinda like a meta-meta-aggregator actually
holy meta-aggregation!
anyway, if you're curious to learn more, check out their website or ping @_nonlinear with any questions (hopefully he is ok with this, i did not ask in advance).
happy meta-aggregating to all.
join me @jchaskin22 and @binji_x tomorrow at 9am PT / noon ET as we dive into open source DEX aggregation, improving transparency and onchain execution quality

S&P 500. Now built for DeFi.
deSPXA is live on @base.
Designed for open onchain markets.
→ trade it
→ borrow against it
→ short it
→ deploy it in strategies
Built by @centrifuge, deSPXA brings tokenized exposure to the S&P 500 via the @JHIAdvisors S&P 500 Index Fund, under license from @SPDJIndices.
deSPXA is now live on @base and already being routed by @spanDEXsh
balancing the costs of regulatory compliance w/ the benefits of being onchain (permissionless, composable capital markets) is a Really Hard Problem that no one has solved at scale yet
the @centrifuge approach of “kyc on primary, permissionless on secondary feels right bc its maximally interoperable on day 1
the Fabric DEX Aggregator is now live on @arbitrum
whether you’re swapping between majors, memes, or stables you can now get extremely low latency, high accuracy swaps by routing @withfabricxyz
withfabric dot xyz
the @withfabricxyz aggregator has started winning its first trades
our strong belief is that every aggregator in the spanDEX lib must earn the right to execute based on the merits of their performance, on a *per swap* basis
