But this person was saying it with gunshots in the background. He clearly knew what was happening but still didn’t stop the ride. The tourist, unaware of the situation, filmed himself. In the video, you can see people running for their lives (0.34 and 0.39) and getting shot (0.43) in the background.
The local was aware of what was happening, remained calm as if he knew he was not in danger, continued chanting a religious slogan, and kept the ride going, despite the risk it posed to the tourist.
