Justice Bahati Mwamuye added a rare touch of Kenyan musical reference to his landmark constitutional ruling on the Rastafari community’s bid to use cannabis as a religious sacrament, opening the judgment with lyrics from the controversial song Bangi by Just Imagine Africa (J.I.A.), the Kenyan alternative music band led by the late singer and guitarist Michael Mugo.

The excerpt provided a cultural backdrop to the court’s examination of bhang’s spiritual significance within the Rastafari faith and the legal questions surrounding its use.

The unconventional opening, which brought a Kenyan music reference into a constitutional judgment, has attracted reactions online, with many appreciating his use of a familiar artistic work while addressing issues of religious freedom, public health and the country’s cannabis laws.

Elon Musk just pulled off the biggest AI power grab of 2026.

Tesla is capping every employee at $200 a week on AI spending starting Monday, July 6.

Media's celebrating it as cost control.

But what Elon actually built is an expense policy that redirects his own engineering workforce off Claude and onto Grok, while every competitor gets throttled by internal procurement rules.

Here's what happened:

Tesla spent the last six months pushing engineers to use AI as aggressively as possible.

Leadership built an internal platform called Bottle Rocket that gave employees access to Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, and Cursor.

They gamified adoption by ranking engineers on internal leaderboards by how many AI tokens they consumed.

The strategy worked. Software engineers started burning THOUSANDS of dollars a week on Claude and Cursor.

Then the invoices arrived and Tesla panicked.

But they didn't pull the standard cost-control response...

The loophole:

The $200 weekly cap does not apply to beta products from xAI.

Grok is completely exempt from the cap. Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's GPT, and Google's Gemini all get throttled at the same $200 line.

Four Tesla engineers told Electrek that internal usage overwhelmingly favors Claude over Grok.

That preference is about to become financially punishing overnight.

The genius part:

This quarter SpaceX is closing a $60 billion all-stock acquisition of Anysphere, the parent company of Cursor.

The moment that deal closes, Cursor's Composer coding model falls under the same Musk-controlled ecosystem, and any Tesla engineer choosing between a capped Claude session and an uncapped Composer session will pay a financial penalty for using the tool they actually prefer.

By exempting only his own products from the cap, Elon is using Tesla shareholder money to build market share for xAI without ever having to disclose that is what he is doing.

Because on paper, it is cost control.

Now zoom out to what this signals for the wider AI narrative:

Uber capped employees at $1,500 a month after burning $3.4 billion in four months.

Meta introduced spending caps.

Amazon and Walmart pushed staff toward cheaper models.

Microsoft canceled Claude Code licenses across 100,000 engineers.

Every Fortune 500 that pushed heavy AI adoption in 2025 is now rationing it in 2026.

Meanwhile Nvidia is trading at a $5 trillion market cap. That entire valuation assumes enterprise AI consumption is about to explode across the economy.

But every company actually deploying AI at scale is telling their own engineers to slow down.

One of these narratives is lying.

Goldman Sachs still forecasts a 24x increase in token consumption by 2030.

Gartner says total enterprise AI costs will keep climbing because agents consume exponentially more tokens per task.

Jensen Huang keeps repeating that 100 AI agents will work alongside every employee.

And now the CEO of the most agentic company on the planet just told his own engineers they cannot spend more than $200 a week on the tools those agents need to run.

Retail investors buying Nvidia and Palantir today are betting enterprise AI adoption compounds without limit.

The CEOs deploying AI inside those same enterprises are betting the exact opposite, in writing, by internal memo.

Most of us we like quoting Jacob Juma, but there's one question we never ask ourselves.

Last week, Senator Okiya Omtatah while reading his documentation on Odious Debts and budgeted corruption,

There was constant interruptions by the Speaker and Senator Cherargei said one thing you all need to hear.

" If you want to be the President, you must stop talking about Odious Debts."

When Jimmy Wanjigi spent hours revealing to Kenyans these illegal non existing debts,

His house was raided, he was put under constant state surveillance and faced serious harassments.

That begs the question, " Why does the state panic anytime they hear someone talking about Odious Debts? Why do they panic when they hear about nationalizing minerals?"

The answer is one. Kenya has been looted, is being looted and the looters are afraid of an enlightened population.

That tells us that if we want to destroy this murderous system which has been created by legacy politicians and their colonial masters,

We must fearlessly come out and address the issue of Odious Debts.

IMF after trapping Kenyans under the armpits of Odious debts, has pleaded immunity against prosecution.

Why do we allow economic terrorists to make economic decisions for us when they cannot be held accountable?

This is a debate we must have as a country.

The Odious Debts and Minerals debate is a serious debate.

PRESS STATEMENT BY SENATOR OKIYA OMTATAH ON THE PUBLIC DEBT CASE RULING

Fellow Kenyans,

Today, the High Court delivered an important ruling in our public debt case.

The Court upheld the @IMFNews claim of diplomatic immunity and struck it out of this petition. While we respect the Court’s decision, accountability for Kenya’s debt burden cannot end there.
We are preparing a separate legal challenge to the Bretton Woods Agreements Act, 1963, against the Constitution of Kenya 2010 to ensure all actors involved in Kenya’s debt processes are subjected to proper scrutiny.

Most importantly, the Court rejected attempts by the Attorney General and other respondents to have this case dismissed. The judges ruled that our petition will proceed to a full hearing on its merits.

The Court also dismissed applications by the former Auditor General, former Controller of Budget, the current Auditor General, and the current Controller of Budget seeking to shield themselves from these proceedings.

This is a significant victory for transparency, accountability, and the Kenyan people.

We will amend our petition as directed by the Court and return on 22nd July 2026. Our mission remains unchanged: to establish how Kenya accumulated trillions in public debt, how the funds were utilized , whether the public benefited and whether the law was followed at every stage.

This case is about protecting the future of our nation and the interests of every Kenyan taxpayer.
We remain focused, determined, and committed to seeing it through.

You can't hack what you can't interface with.

He looked at me like I was insane and asked about data compliance.

I leaned back in my chair and whispered the phrase "asynchronous legacy tunneling".

He immediately closed his notebook and apologized for questioning my vision.

I spent the rest of the afternoon watching a 4-hour documentary about the Roman Empire at my desk.

Next week I'm going to make him untangle category 5 cables for character development.

But the plot goes deeper

Zaharoula claims that their father Elefrtherios who was a wealthy greek,and who died recently,was not that ill to just die the way he died. According to her,she says that her mother told her he died of prostate cancer,and esther said he died of Mercury poisoning. But his death certificate said he died of Pneumonia and covid. But Zaharoula says she spent alot of time with him and never contacted any covid. This inconsistency troubles her and makes her very suspicious who or what really killed him

Zaharoula says her and her brother want their fathers will read, and that Esther passaris has been very shady isnt allowing it,5 years now. She says documents were quickly signed by Esthers lawyer when they were not around.

She claims that the only thinkable reason Esther would do this to her even after promising her father she would take care of Zaharoulas medication,is because zaharoula was undeniably her father’s most preferred (read favourite) child. And she resembled him. And this irks Esther even more

Zaharoula her son and her brother remain oppressed by @EstherPassaris just because they refuse to bow to her unlike the other family members.

She is quickly requesting support from all Human rights organizations and authorities,as her life is in danger.
