Deep within the swamps and crooked warrens of The Bent Spoon, the goblin warband known as Granny’s Boys marches beneath the watchful eye of their ruler, The Head-Hag, Granny Kraken.

Once believed to be just another bitter old goblin crone, Granny Kraken has grown into something far worse — an ancient enchanter whose honey-slick whispers can bend weak minds like rusted cutlery. Few outsiders know how many of her “boys” truly serve willingly anymore. Fewer still return long enough to speak on it.

The Bent Spoon got its name from an old tavern sign hanging at the entrance of town. Travelers and mercenaries often laugh when they first hear it.

They stop laughing after sunset.

Some say the town is little more than a filthy goblin den full of gambling pits, mushroom liquor, war drums, and knife fights. Others whisper that every alleyway hides blank-eyed servants carrying out Granny’s will with eerie smiles stretched across their faces.

Still, caravans continue to vanish near The Bent Spoon.

And every season, Granny’s Boys somehow seem to grow in number.
