Sony is facing a $457 million lawsuit because of their attempt to cease production of physical games by January 2028🚀

✅Sony defended their digital pricing by arguing that consumers could simply buy physical discs if they found PlayStation Store prices too high.

✅Because the digital store will soon become the only place to purchase new games, legal experts note that Sony has effectively dismantled its own defense by eliminating that physical alternative.

Sony just got hit with a $457 million lawsuit because they decided to stop making physical PlayStation games after January 2028.

Their own move to kill discs is now being used against them — the company can’t pretend players still have a physical option anymore when the PlayStation Store becomes the only place left to buy new games.

They tried to force everyone into their ecosystem with no competition and higher prices, thinking nobody could push back.

Turns out removing consumer choice just gave the lawyers everything they needed.

Big corporations love taking away what we actually own until it costs them hundreds of millions. Sony played themselves.

Physical media still matters. Ownership still matters.

2️⃣ El segundo será a principios de agosto cuando salgan sus primeros charts y reciban el primer impacto en sus números.
3️⃣ El final round nos llevará a septiembre, tras el borrado de las compras de películas digitales de nuestras librerías.

➖أي لعبة تصدر قبل 2028 يقدرون ينتجون لها نسخ إضافية حتى في 2029 ولسنوات بعدها لذا لاتصدقون موضوع ان الامر حُسم بأن الشركة لاتستطيع الانتا��.

➖سوني اتخذت القرار بسبب ارتفاع تكلفة تصنيع PS6، القرار يمنح سوني سيطرة أكبر على الأسعار ويزيد أرباحها عبر متجر PlayStation.

➖بعض المطورين المقربين من سوني تفاجؤوا بالقرار، وغاضبين منه.

➖الحقيقة هي ان سوني ما راح تقفل مصنع البلوراي في النمسا بالكامل، بل بتحول معظمه لاستخدامات ثانية. وحتى لو قفل، هذا ما يعني نهاية الأقراص، لأن أقراص PlayStation مجرد Blu-ray بتقنية ROM-Mark، وفيه مصانع ثانية تقدر تصنعها بترخيص من سوني.

➖إذا هالضجة خلت سوني تتراجع، فما يحتاجون يسوون تغييرات كبيرة في مصانعهم يقدرون يكملون الإنتاج أو يوسعونه من جديد إذا احتاجوا.

➖اطالب اللاعبين بعدم ��لاستسلام، والاستمرار بالضغط على سوني، الضغط قد يجبرها على التراجع أو على الاقل تعدل خططها، كما حدث مع شركات أخرى في السابق.
