Generation X is the only thing holding back the flood - we were educated in a time before indoctrination, before free speech was outlawed, and when the government still feared the electorate.
The establishment can’t wait for us to go extinct, but I’ll tell you something, we won’t go down without a fight. It’s just our nature.
@rim_greaper@GBPolitcs My son has just done his GCSE’s, some of the resources are professionally presented by qualified teachers. Unbelievable that the government would deny children that.
But with this authoritarian incompetent government the only thing they care about is control
The entire establishment from the government to the media spouts far left rhetoric.
The majority of the public do not.
Therefore preventing public discourse hides the public/establishment disconnect, but more importantly it reduces the spread of ‘dangerous’ ideology.
Many governments have tried to silence opposing ideologies before - they have never been the good guys - they have always been tyrants.
@EndWokeness But if you get angry and write a spicy post that’ll be a hate crime - and off to prison you go.
My advice for the US - NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES VOTE IN THE DEMOCRATS, OR ANY OTHER LEFT WING PARTY. THEY CANT HELP THEMSELVES
@sharrond62 She’s right, but she forgot to explain how this manifests in people with authority who fear that inaction against those who speak out will be judged as complicity.
They will instigate the punishment despite agreeing. Madness.
@davidicke It’s funny how this war is just bad enough to permanently make the use oil price high enough to make living difficult but not catastrophically high to make people take to the streets
There are over ten thousand public sector organisations in the U.K, the majority will have hundreds of different policies and strategies.
Each one of these policies and strategies has to go through an ‘equality impact assessment’ - imagine the overall administrative cost.
That money could be spent on genuinely improving lives
@RidgeandFrost@SkyNews@leicesterliz I think we should turn the clock back to the 80’s and 90’s before the authoritarianism, before the insanity, and before our country began its descent
Starmer has cornered himself - people will simply use VPNs leaving Starmer no choice but to make their use a criminal offence.
If he does that there can be no hiding from the fact he will be dictating what adults choose to read and see at the threat of prison.
He will then have cemented his legacy as the UKs first dictator.

This is the ugly face of socialism, so make no mistake, we’re in the foothills of becoming a modern day East Germany - engineered into existence by Starmer and the Labour Party
