@katieporterca Gas is to expensive. There is no argument about that. However, it is still cheaper than it was when there was a democrat in the WH. Why would anyone vote to put a Democrat in charge of anything?
I’m a boomer. I had roommates. I haven’t bought a new car in 26 years. My newest car is 18 years old. I bought it used. My truck is 23 years old. I maintain them myself. Both look and drive like new. I regularly check for better insurance rates. I make my coffee at home. I buy groceries that are on sale. Nearly everything I buy is on sale. Not because I don’t have money but because I earned what I have and don’t want to waste it.
I also went to college during the day while working nights. I worked more OT than I can count. I did every dirty job my employer needed done. I saved and invested my money.
This generation doesn’t have it any harder than the previous generations, they’re just whining little bitches. Get over it.
Some people, and apparently some justices, think the supreme court is some sort of morality court. It’s not. It’s a court of law. Its job is to decide cases based on law. The highest of which is the constitution. We don’t care about your personal feelings or beliefs and they should not be reflected in your decisions.
@jonbrooks Where I live just plans and permits are well over $100,000. The lot is another $500,000. That’s over $600,000 before you’ve built anything. It takes a year to go through the planning process to get a permit.
@donwinslow The left told us Hegseth was incompetent. The worst secdef in history. However the US military has conducted multiple operations, all executed flawlessly. Compare that to the military under Biden.
Time will tell about this operation but it looks good so far.
It’s easy to see the new rules as cruel but have you looked at poor people in this country? They are most definitely suffering from poor nutrition. Why should tax payers pay for them to buy things that will exacerbate their condition and drive up healthcare costs which are also taxpayer funded?
@BernieSanders I’ll bet the majority that live paycheck to paycheck drive newer cars, have the latest cell phone, visit Starbucks daily and shop at Whole Foods.
@allenanalysis Just because someone says they are a doctor that doesn’t mean they are. It would be irresponsible to allow someone to treat someone without proof.
