My first job in local gov was due to his expansion of the Comprehensive Employee Training Act.

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of former Delegate Jimmy Malone, after a long battle with cancer.

Del. Malone served in the House for 19 years and was well known in Annapolis and Baltimore County for his huge heart. He will be sorely missed.

Harriet Tubman became a one-star brigadier general in the MD Army National Guard posthumously yesterday, awarded the rank 110+ years after her death.
