It's okay to rely on the kindess of others to get by.
- Share your feelings.
- Ask for help.
Be the kindness that others can rely on to get by.
- Lend an ear.
- Give a hand.
We're all in this together.
Team Leads - please plan for frequent retrospectives!
It's even IN the Agile Manifesto:
"At regular intervals, the team reflects on how
to become more effective, then tunes and adjusts
its behavior accordingly."
No Retro = you're not listening to the team
Doing one of the DeepLearning AI Courses and this gave me a giggle!
The verb should be "pedir" (to ask for/request) instead of "ordenar" (to order, sort, arrange).
AI Translation still has a long way to go; but better than my clumsy spanish at times!๐
@madebygps That sort of attitude won't sell ebooks or courses ๐คฃ
J/K, ppl need to understand you can't make a life-changing career move with a 1 week cram session.
It takes time to learn this stuff, and you're expected to both retain and build on it later. Study for the job, not the exam!
Mentee told me that 5 minutes before an interview, recruiter comes back with "We can get close to your salary requirements with total comp". ๐
Total Comp != Base Salary.
Bonuses are not guaranteed.
StockOptions are worthless.
Don't be fooled; maximize on Base Salary/Cash!

@techgirl1908 All interviews have a point, whether it's looking for fit, technical ability, or introduction to and assessment from different stakeholders of all levels, etc.
You can 'pass' all 3/6/9 rounds and still easily just not get the job. Don't take it for granted!
