Having a house that is my own feels so surreal. I catch so many moments in awe and realization that this house is actually ours. Everything we do has extra meaning for us. Past me would be so so proud!
it's another lovely spring day to REMIND YOU DELINQUENTS TO STOP "RESCUING" BABY ANIMALS. THEIR MOMS ARE MOST LIKELY NEARBY - SO MIND YOUR BUSINESS.
FAWNS, DROP EM'.
BIRDS, LEAVE EM'.
RACCOONS, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.
FOXES?! -SWIPER NO SWIPING.
ARMADILLO?¿? ARMADILL-NO.
2023 Mary: you enjoy so much more less than a year later. All the super scaries are gone, hope starts to prosper in the best way, you travel with many adventures, and you actually get to work on getting a house! It's such a fun place for Nuggy to run around and expand her kingdom
Getting my own house and I am making my own rule(s):
No sad beige/gray/white/off-white. Unless explicitly needed. This is not my standard and I want 👏🏻✨️color✨️👏🏻
Standard will be a muted/light blue or purple. NO SAD BEIGE.
Call me out if I transform into sad beige person
I now have to leave highly aggressive and emotional situations with students as soon as they are safe so I can let out my trauma to get me back. Because I'm not there anymore. Because one person did something over and over, and so many people didn't listen when I yelled 4 help.
I'm mad that what someone did over and over in my childhood that was out of my control still controls me today. In my job, helping a child through a crisis. At home, when someone makes a choice without me or my spouse's choice or voice in the matter.
@Cravingshay You and the judge that sentenced the guy that jumped the previous judge would run the damn world with the deservedly so cut throat professionalism and demanding the peace that people keep fucking up. 🫡
I expect whenever my celebration of life or funeral happens, all Edna Mode pics are shown. And if there isn't a good pic of me being genuinely happy, an Edna Mode pic needs to be used officially in the obituary. Thank you 🫡👏🏻
And it's weird having to comfort someone else over your own grief that doesn't affect you anymore in your day to day life. Like, i didn't want to make this sad and uncomfortable for them, but now we have to go through this weird required sympathy thing before moving on.
I've been thinking about this because I've been asked a couple different times really. I purposely talk about only my mom to strangers. Sometimes it works, other times they question why. Or ask about my dad. I don't feel upset telling them. I mostly feel uncomfy for them.
Those that saved me and didn't realize right away will probably never know that they saved my life. One board game with egging each other on with laughter saved me from ending it all in the upstairs bathroom that night. And saved me from going to a hospital so far away from home.
An unknowing giggling knock back from my sobbing and knocking on my wall saved me from ending it on my bed next to my hedgehog as the frat party raged outside the window.
Seeing friends and family leave a religion I told was right or setting a boundary before/after mass saved me from ending it in the lobby bathroom. I wouldn't have been able to get married in that same lobby a year or two later.
A hug on my first day back to school after missing more than a week of school to say goodbye forever to my dad saved me from ending it on the baseball field during our unknowing class walk to the last spot he had travelled outside of the house to see me play the summer before.
