โWhy do we spend 11 months preparing for the draft?
Why do we watch 1000+ college football games?
Why do we do any of it?
Because obviously the consensus guys in their basements have all the answers ๐โ

#Jaguars GM James Gladstone on the consensus board debate:
โWe build consensus internally, and that is leveraged at every pick point.โ
He added that consensus doesnโt always align because they donโt take into account scheme or the situation a player is coming into.

Introducing "Siege Strata" โ๏ธ๐งต
Iโve been building this since 2024, and after a recent breakthrough I can finally say itโs in alpha. Wanted to share it as a proof of concept and document the progress because Iโm pretty excited about where itโs heading
What it does now:
โ All player positions on a blueprint
โ Drone mapping, active and passive
โ Works on replay files from any patch
โ Various types of heatmaps
โ Ability to analyze when in-game replay isnโt available/is too time consuming
Whatโs coming:
โ Multi-round overlay playback comparisons
โ Gadget/utility placement markers
โ More heatmap types
โ Drawing tools
+ More
Still in alpha, thereโs a lot to add and refine, but the project is reaching a state where it can produce real value I feel

The moment when #Jaguars edge Travon Walker got his contract extension, we were talking to his good friend Christen Miller on @NFLNetwork... and it was fantastic. Must. See.
Jaguar fans got so use to throwing money at any and everybody in free agency they donโt know what to do with a team thatโs mainly draft and develop mindset
Jaguars have been in a constant cycle of
Pay big name free agents that donโt perform once signed
Draft terrible
Spend too much money in FA.
That stops now.
You will see so many benefits from a properly ran team.
Comp picks
High play out of rookies
More cap space
