Last nights movie was The Seventh Curse from 1986. Hong Kong action/adventure/gory horror.
Starring Chin Siu-Ho, Maggie Cheung and Chow Yun-Fat. What an entertaining and fun ride. Kinda crappy but in a great way practical creature effects and good amount of gore. Just pure fun!

Watched Cape Fear the other night. Directed by Martin Scorcese. It's from 1991.
Starring Nick Nolte, Robert De Niro, Juliette Lewis and Jessica Lange.
De Niros probably best performance ever. His so psychotic and evil in this. Great movie. Saw this for the first time.
More movies for collection this time from 88 Films.
2 starring Chow Yun-Fat, The Seventh Curse and The Postman Fights Back.
Zebraman 1 and 2 which are ditected by Takashi Miike and Witchfinder General starring Vincent Price. Never seen any of these so looking forward!

Last nights movie was Sabata from 1969. Spagetti western starring Lee Van Cleef and William Berger.
Damn good western. Lee Van Cleef has that unique look that just works but i think my favorite was probably William Bergers Banjo. Such a cool character. I need this trilogy.
Last night i watched American Yakuza from 1993 for the first time.
Starring Viggo Mortensen and Ryô Ishibashi.
It was a decent 90s action. Lower budget which shows at times but still pretty enjoyable action flick.
Last nights movie was Deadly Outlaw Rekka from 2002. Directed by Takashi Miike.
First time seeing it and Miike just doesn't disappoint (well DOA3 was maybe disappointment).
Brutal action with grdat characters and almost trademark Miike style WTF ending. Loved every minute.
Last nights movie was Agitator from 2001. Directed by Takashi Miike. I watched the 200 minute version and while really long, it was still a really awesome yakuza movie. Clearly huge inspiration to the Yakuza games.
Must watch for every japanese yakuza movie fans.
I've been outside lately. It's kinda cool too. Saw a huge ass raven. Those birds are impressive! No wonder they were considered some sort of death omen back in the day or something. My favorite bird. Also saw other things too.
Finally got around to watch The Killer 4k release. Still absolutely fantastic movie from John Woo. Came out 1989 and Chow Yun-Fat has gotta be one of the coolest dudes ever on screen.
Action is top notch and you get really good drama here too. One of the greatest ever.
Got some new movies for the collection. Finally Highway to Hell. Loved that movie growing up!
Also watched Dark City last night and it was great. One of the best scifi, mystery movies and very stylish in it's setting. Great cast too.
Tonights movie was O-bi, O-ba. The End of Civilization. From 1985, Polish scifi/drama directed by Piotr Szulkin.
Post apocalyptic world where everyone is living in an underground bunker and being pacified by an engineered mass collective dream of a mythical ark. Great movie.

Last night i watched Critters Attack! from 2019.
It was great to see Dee Wallace back and that they went with practical puppets and gore for the critters.
Well other than those though.. it wasn't very good. Had couple nice critter moments but cast/acting was pretty awful..
Saw a baby Slowworm today in the woods. Had to stand in guard cause kids were driving there with bikes and scooters so they wouldn't run over this little guy. He moved so slow... guess that's where the name comes from.
But it made it safely in the grass.
Tonights movie was Cool Hand Luke from 1967.
Starring Paul Newman and George Kennedy and lot of others.
Really great prison movie and Newman is just so cool character in this. " What we've got here is failure to communicate."
Classic!
