There really needs to be a lawsuit for something like this to set precedent, however most smaller artists won't be able to do that. We need somebody to screw up and try to claim they created some Marvel art or something, just to get proper protections in place.

During a Twitch stream AT (@haruno_intro) had their art stolen.

The thief then finished the sketch by using NovelAI and posted on their Twitter before AT finish it.

Then had the AUDACITY to demand a "proper reference" from them.

Wizards really did what most AAA game devs do anymore and just shipped an unfinished product? On top of that they had to let their racist nonsense slip into it too. This stuff makes it really difficult to want to let them have any of my money anymore.

Telling people to just fill in the gaps or be a better DM & do your job is not a valid answer for those who feel Spelljammer is lacking. I expect to fill in the gaps for a 5-10 dollar zine. For 70 bucks I expect a complete product & my only work should be finding people to play.

@UniversalCatBoy Exactly, I feel like AAA titles must execute their goal great, because you have money and resources behind it. The game that was reviewed that sparked this was Phasmophobia which was literally 1 guy teaching himself game design. It's wild to lose points for that.

@KratosSagara That's absolutely how I feel. I just watched a conversation about someone that said a game lost points just for being indie, and then the creator was told that's dumb. They made a big thing about it, and I was curious what others thought.

The best/worst part about it is 2 things. 1 - Starting the fight saying I'm going to try not dying. and 2 - I don't normally run ROB, but I took the advice of chat to lessen my pain as a caster main.

I'm so incredibly infuriated by the decision today, and scared of the repercussions. I'm baffled at how this could ever happen, and just left without the words to express how truly wrong this whole situation feels.
