1. For all the new talk of diversification, our economy is weaker and more dependent on the US than ever.

2. For all the new talk of “but Mexico makes all the drugs”, tens of thousands have died and suffered from our pro-drug policies.

3. For all the new talk of “Buy Canada”, we’ve deindustrialized so much we barely make things to buy anymore.

4. For all the talk of “Invest in Canada”, our own pension funds have decided this country is uninvestable, let alone foreign investors.

5. For all the talk of “Canadian healthcare”, more people have died directly from waitlists since 2020 than from Covid.

Canadians rose up to demand war on Americans without realizing we’ve been at war with ourselves for years.

1. We want to cut off America’s access to trade when our own citizens have had their bank accounts cut off.

2. We threaten to cut off oil from America when our own provinces have been cut off from oil for decades without a pipeline running West-East.

Our leaders are deeply unserious people incapable of introspection. They think the world revolves around them. They finally wish to act only when their comfort is threatened — too little too late. You can’t fight a war you never prepared for.

Canadians need to remember they are citizens of a sovereign nation. We have not just the right, but the responsibility to do better. We now have a once in a lifetime opportunity. People are awake for the first time. We need to demand better from each other. We need to demand better from our leaders and media.
