Logos Circle Awka is on a mission to help 20 tech talents in Anambra secure jobs before the end of the month. π
This weekend, we held our 3rd @Logos_network Circle Awka, and once again, the conversation wasn't about technology for technology's sake it was about solving a real problem in our community.
After reviewing the progress we've made over the past two months, we aligned on our next major objective:
Help at least 20 tech talents in Anambra secure meaningful employment opportunities.
Over the past few months, we've:
β Identified unemployment as our first Winnable Issue.
β Hosted a practical CV and job application workshop.
β Reviewed CVs through our Google Classroom with support from experienced professionals.
β Begun preparing community members for global opportunities.
Now, we're moving beyond preparation to opportunity creation.
Our next step: Building an Opportunity Pipeline
Rather than waiting for opportunities to find our community members, we'll actively create pathways for them.
Our strategy is to partner with:
Startups
Tech companies
Agencies
Product teams
Development studios
Organizations hiring technical talent
We'll identify companies with open roles, understand the skills they need, and connect them with qualified talents from our community.
This is more than helping people write better CVs.
It's about building a bridge between talented individuals looking for work and organizations looking for great people.
If we execute this well, we'll not only help people find jobs we'll create a sustainable talent pipeline that continues to connect opportunities with capable professionals across Anambra.
This is what Logos Circle Awka is about.
Not just conversations.
Not just meetups.
Discussion β Execution β Measurement β Impact.
We're excited about the journey ahead, and we're looking forward to sharing the success stories that emerge from this initiative.
If you're a startup, company, or organization looking to hire talented people, we'd love to connect.
Together, let's create more opportunities for tech talent in Anambra.
