Hay una generación entera de jugadores que no conciben el mundo sin acceso an internet y se entiende. Pero, lo que acaba de hacer Sony es anti consumidor se vea por donde se vea.

Imagina que en el futuro, te dijeran que no puedes jugar tus cartuchos o discos de consolas retro de tu colección, que tú pagaste. Porque no hay forma de validar que tu compraste ese juego hace a��os. Y ellos ya no tienen el recibo. O decidieron cerrar el servicio para verificarlo porque ya no les era conveniente o costeable tenerlo activo.

Y tu, te quedas sin acceso a tu juego, a pesar de que se te cobró por tener acceso a él, pero ya, como ya pasó tiempo y por la razón que sea, lo has perdido. Ahí decía en las letras chiquitas de tu compra, y tú dijiste en su momento que “todo mundo tiene acceso al internet, no es un problema”. Y ahora tu biblioteca, a pesar de estar en tu almacenamiento, está inaccesible.

Ese escenario es una posibilidad. Solo que como no es inmediato, no importa mucho.
Pero si no pudieras jugar tus juegos de digamos Xbox 360 o PS3, a pesar de tener tu disco? Tu licencia legal?

No suena tan bien, ¿no?

Sometimes people ask me "okay but why is your name pizza?"

You see, I don't really like my university or the city it's in. Because of the limited opportunities here I became quite depressed over the years. As a student, I naturally order food a lot from outside. But since the city is so limited there weren't any good restaurants except for one amazing pizza place that felt like a miracle. Whenever I felt down, I would get pizza from there and that restaurant represents the only good thing in this place for me. That's why I chose the name "pizza" as a way for my art to represent hope in my life.

At least that's a cool story I could tell if it were true!! Actually I just thought of pizza as a fun and random name.
