and Emerging Zoonotic Diseases, enhancing health preparedness and supporting evidence-based healthcare practices.

SPIDS Immunization Lounge 2026 concluded with highlighting the pivotal role of childhood vaccination in reducing the burden of respiratory infections and strengthening long-term public health protection.

Insightful lectures explored the impact of pediatric influenza vaccination programs and the promising future of next-generation tuberculosis vaccines currently advancing through the global pipeline.

Third session, “For Every Generation, Vaccines Work,” focuses on the importance of immunization across all stages of life, from adolescence to adulthood.

The session provided valuable insights into innovations in adolescent vaccination and emphasized the expanding role of adult immunization in strengthening long-term public health protection.

The session continues to highlight the ethical foundations of vaccine research and the importance of maintaining transparency, safety, and public trust in advancing immunization science.

Insightful discussions also explored how artificial intelligence may help optimize vaccine schedules, enhance communication strategies, and support the future of precision communication strategies, and support the future of precision immunization.

Second session, “The Vaccine Future of Real-World Evidence,” highlighted the critical role of post-marketing surveillance in ensuring vaccine safety, effectiveness, and public confidence.

The session also showcased how real-world evidence continues to shape regulatory decisions and strengthen evidence-based public health policies and immunization strategies.

Day 2 opened with the session “The Art and Science of Vaccine Conversations,” highlighting the evolving science behind vaccine-induced immune responses and correlates of protection.

The session also provided important updates on the 2025–2026 immunization program, reflecting ongoing national efforts to strengthen vaccine strategies and public health protection.

The third session tackled practical strategies for vaccine implementation, including vaccine administration, pre- and post-vaccination instructions, and approaches to improving the vaccination experience for children and families.

Discussions also addressed vaccine side effects and ways to comfort children during vaccination

The session also highlighted the safety and effectiveness of maternal vaccination in protecting both mothers and infants against vaccine-preventable diseases.

An insightful lecture highlighting the future of combination vaccines against respiratory viruses and their potential to strengthen prevention strategies, improve protection, and advance the future of immunization practice.

The session ends with exploring influenza vaccine effectiveness, safety, types, and impact on reducing influenza infection among children and adults.

Continues second session with third talk that discusses the challenges of vaccine hesitancy and highlights practical approaches to strengthening vaccine confidence through effective communication approaches.

Last presentation focuses on tailored immunization strategies for immunocompromised patients and the importance of optimizing protection in high-risk populations.

The second session focuses on vaccines targeting major bacterial pathogens and their evolving role in disease prevention and public health.

The first lecture highlights the transition from policy to practice in strengthening pneumococcal vaccination strategies and improving immunization impact.

The program now transitions to the next presentation, “Local Public Health Spotlight,”

Saudi Arabia continues to demonstrate remarkable progress in national immunization coverage through expanded vaccination programs, strengthened public health strategies, and ongoing commitment to preventive healthcare under Vision 2030. The Kingdom’s efforts have contributed to maintaining high vaccine uptake, improving access to immunization services, and reinforcing protection against vaccine-preventable diseases across all age.

The day concludes with sessions on adolescent, adult, and respiratory infection vaccines, including RSV and tuberculosis.
