The first two things a reader does before they read your screenplay:
1) Check the page count.
2) Check to see how dense the writing is.
I resisted this reality for way too long in my own screenwriting. You don't have to.
The less it feels like work for the reader, the better.

@christanyc Not actively, but yes. It's something that at the very end I will think about. That comes from working at a prodco and a studio where budget for things actively matters. But it doesn't detract from the quality of the writing. #scriptchat
