I’ve had the honour of meeting Chief Billy Morin on a number of occasions. He’s a remarkable young leader and will make an amazing Grand Chief. #Indigenous
Congratulations to Chief Billy Morin of the Enoch Cree First Nation for his appointment of Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Confederacy under his leadership. #ableg
It was so nice visiting the kids at Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation and chatting with the school principal Cheryl Makokis. She introduced me to each classroom and when I asked “Who would like to go riding in a new bike park?” every hand went up! Stay tuned. 🚴🏻♂️🚴♀️
What a wonderful celebration at the opening of the new school at Enoch Cree Nation. Chief Billy Morin talked about the energy flowing from all the natural light, land based teaching and the Cree language being spoken. #Culture#Indigenous#Respect
That was special! Amazing crowds, venue and artists at the 40th annual Edmonton Folk Festival. Brandi Carlyle capped off the evening with an electrifying performance and played until midnight.
I love attending the Enoch Cree Nation Pow Wow. It’s such a wonderful celebration of their rich culture. And it’s always an honour to chat with Chief Billy Morin. He’s an amazing young leader.
Last day of school for 2018/19! Thanks to all the teachers and administrators that have worked hard to create healthy and inclusive school communities over the past year. Have a wonderful, active summer! #schoolsout#summerishere
Be truthful and respectful in our speech, which in itself is a miracle and a gift from the Creator, that we might use it only to speak good of each other and pass on the good things of life.
