Four firefighters killed in Kharkiv yesterday by Russian double tap. They served in the 6th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Kharkiv:

​Dmytro Boiko, Squad Leader, Chief Master Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service;

​Danylo Tishchenko, Firefighter-Rescuer, Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service;

​Serhiy Makovetskyi, Firefighter-Rescuer, Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service;

​Vadym Zinchenko, Driver, Master Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service.

A Civil Protection Specialist at the Kharkiv Regional State Administration died with them. Name was not announced yet.

The attack damaged the UNESCO site and killed 4 people in Kyiv.

It is time to end this war. But Russia’s ruler wants to keep fighting. That is why Ukrainian sanctions against this aggression are working. Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1,000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region – to the enemy navy’s arsenals and a base in Kronstadt. Our long-range sanctions also reached about 500 kilometers into the Krasnodar region – and hit an oil depot. These are important results of the joint efforts by warriors from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. Russia must end its war and stop its attacks on life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. I thank our warriors for their precision.

It was a Kh-101 missile that struck a residential building in Kyiv, according to preliminary data.

The missile was manufactured in the second quarter of this year. This means Russia is still importing the components, resources, and equipment necessary for missile production in circumvention of global sanctions.

Stopping Russia’s sanctions evasion schemes must be a genuine priority for all our partners.

Putin persuaded Trump to compel Ukraine to accept a 3-day ceasefire for Russia's victory day.
Trump claimed 1000 POW from each side would be exchanged.
Zelensky accepted.
Russia responded with 1,400 drones and ballistic missiles against civilians in 30 hours afterwards.
No POW exchange so far.
No protest from the US or Trump.
Once again Trump shows that he supports Putin.

At a dinner in the White House, Charles III told Donald Trump: “I’ve noticed your changes to the East Wing. I must say, we Brits also, in our own modest way, tried to renovate the White House back in 1814.”
I didn’t know that myself, but looked it up — in 1814, the British burned the White House.
The king also gave Trump a bell from a decommissioned British submarine named “Trump”: “Ring it if you ever need us.”

“You recently remarked, Mr. President, that if it weren’t for the United States, European countries would be speaking German. Allow me to say that if it weren’t for us, you would be speaking French.”
But the king didn’t just joke — he also reminded Trump about support for Ukraine and the role of NATO.
Overall, Charles devoted his entire speech to subtly trolling Trump — in a very British way, so refined that it went right over the heads of MAGA supporters. They even applauded him for it!
