VERY ominous is Dr. Jefferey Taubenberger's heading of the NIAID. He retrieved the genome of the 1918 flu virus in 1997. Virus was recreated in full in 2005. MIT students recreated it in January of 2025, eluding anti-terrorist protocols. Yikes!!
