I went through the entire 111 list of Pals in Palworld to see what seems like a Pokémon rip off compared to not, because I’ve seen a lot of people talk about it but no full comprehensive list. Here’s what I found (it’s a lot) 🧵
@Catqb91@FigmentFriis@Palworld_EN There’s a difference between something being similar and taking things that already exist apart and gluing them together differently.
@PoisonCalamari@Palworld_EN I’ve played a lot of pokemon and I also enjoy Palworld. Some shapes and features are unmistakably the same and I can’t not see it. I’m allowed to have my opinion and I also believe the Pal concepts were put together with AI, not the models themselves.
@HeavenFlower18@Palworld_EN There is nothing that can prove they didn’t use ideas with prompts involving pokemon and then using the generated concepts to create Pals. Believe what you wish, but my eyes always catch features, body parts and shapes that are nearly a 1:1 copy.
@OPKamui@Palworld_EN I said nothing about the concept of a hooded shadow monster. Try to read it again and try to understand without drooling on yourself this time. I don’t argue with those with no reading comprehension. 🙄
@FallenNessa@IJustLikeArt_@Palworld_EN No, they’re not wrong. A lot of Pal designs are litterally just removing parts of Pokemon and gluing them together differently. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were blending pokemon designs together with AI, because that’s what it looks like.
