@neilpatel If you want ad revenue, take it off auto-pilot and secure your own ads.
As you have stated before, the best ads on podcasts are "ad reads" by the podcasters themselves on products relevant to the audience.
Eat your own dog food again!
@neilpatel Dynamic Ad Insertion destroying Marketing School podcast. Huge influx of low-quality ads ruining the personal brand and reputation you have built.
Why the hell should I be subjected to random grocery store (Safeway) ads on a marketing/tech podcast?
New Video! Do you want to access your smart home devices remotely without paying for a subscription or messing with port forwarding?

Every Mac fan - drooling over the warmed-over new HomePod OG for $300. Me - ordering Sonos stands for less expensive Sonos Play One's. With real Atmos upfiring speakers on HDMI connected Sonos ARC, happy with a real home theater setup that works and sounds even better.
Does it Matter? Is the new Smart Home standard that was the talk of the CES show just a new fad or a real disruption?
I explain why it could just be a major threat to traditional home automation manufacturers, dealers, installers, and owners.

@film_girl My favorite hack is using Ethernet feed going to the TV and using it for my own Internet link.
Often it is not secured and only needs a static dns configuration to get working. Gives you 100mbit or faster feed and just use a tplink travel router for your own in-room Wi-Fi
@jagtap_lalit@markgurman Good luck with that.
I don’t know any pundits that “keep score” of wild rumors & speculation by themselves or others.
And that’s before the link bait tricks.
For are its ills, at least financial industry analysts are scored on the accuracy of their stock picks and projections.
@beriberikix@jp2e@gigastacey@jhui It is more complex than that and the flood of inexpensive led lamps (aka bulbs) increases frustration. I deal with this on an ongoing basis with both frugal DIY and luxury smart home clients.
@jp2e@gigastacey@beriberikix@jhui FYI, although not needing a neutral wire is often considered the “holy grail”, some LED lighting fixtures can be problematic with problems turning completely off or buzzing/flickering. Lutron’s Pro+ tech in RA2/HomeWorks optional neutral hook-up should be added to Caseta and RA3
@jagtap_lalit@Rajeev_GoI First hand: used debit card I have had for years for the first time at one place - gas station in city I never visited before. Fraud transactions poured in from skimmer. Bank refunded but no interest in details of why it happened and brushed aside saying they don’t investigate
@jagtap_lalit@Rajeev_GoI The only workable solution is tighter laws for financial services so banks have to refund all losses and disallow them taking tax write offs. Even with “plain vanilla” credit card fraud, banks know it is cheaper to refund consumers than stop crooks, so they do nothing.
@danwroc I know it is first release, but this reflects poorly on Matter certification labs and the testing process. Glad I’m not a manufacturer that paid thousands of dollars for official testing and certification!
