What people don’t say about residency
It’s like a prison . You can’t wake up and decide to move to a different city or different country.
You can’t be out of town for more than a week .
Your life is literally stuck there until you finish .
Worse is if you are self sponsored
You will literally work -study yourself to exhaustion day in day out your entire residency
I literally would not have survived this without God’s grace
I am going to cry buckets when I see my name on that graduation list
In fact I’ll drive all the way to navakholo and sit on my mothers grave and tell her about it then cry another bucket 😶
You know what’s funny? If FIFA didn’t reduce Ronaldo’s suspension, Portugal probably beats DR Congo and ends up facing Switzerland instead of Spain. Instead, that one shady decision completely changed their path and now it feels like karma for the corruption. Football always finds a way.
A Cristiano masterclass is what football needs
We can’t have a legend’s career crashing out as sadly as Neymar’s did… a Portugal run and Ronaldo win as a major contributor would be the perfect end to an imperfect but overhated career.
Not sure why Ronaldo fans are sad, in what world did you think he deserved to touch that trophy after insulting the tournament? Go home and take that arrogant rapist with you
I’m sorry but I’m not getting gaslit about Cristiano’s embarrassing World Cup ko record. Haaland had 2+ markers on him all game and was still the difference. Playing on a team that didn’t make the World Cup since 1998 and 4th time in their history
You’re still dodging the actual argument again my boss 😅
I’m not saying Ronaldo could not do those things. Of course Ronaldo could pass, dribble, create, assist and influence games. He is an all-time great.
But saying “Ronaldo does everything” is too vague.
Everything at what level?
That’s the real question.
The debate is not whether Ronaldo has ever dribbled, passed, assisted, created, or dropped deep. The debate is whether he was historically elite in those areas the way Messi was.
A striker can make good passes. That does not make him an elite playmaker.
A winger can dribble. That does not make him Messi-level as a dribbler.
A forward can drop deep. That does not mean he controls games like Messi.
You’re treating “he can do it” as the same thing as “he is historically elite at it.”
That is where you’re dodging.
Messi was not just capable in multiple areas. He was one of the best ever in multiple areas: goalscoring, playmaking, dribbling, chance creation, passing, ball progression and match control.
Ronaldo was elite in his own areas too: goalscoring, movement, finishing, heading, weak foot, box dominance, UCL dominance, mentality and longevity.
But if you say Ronaldo was also elite at playmaking, dribbling, chance creation, passing, ball progression and controlling games at Messi’s level, then show that argument directly.
Don’t just say “his execution is different.”
Different execution explains style.
It does not prove equal influence.
So I ask again, what exactly are they equal at functionally?
