Splicing header images from your PFPs is simple:
- select an NFT you own
- pick a style
- hit the mint button
When we're opening our contracts to the public tomorrow (Mar 4th), these 4 styles will be available (examples generated from some top 100 collections):
2022 has been an amazing and insane year. My project dropping on Artblocks was a huge moment that took many months of hard work. Here are some of the tips and tricks I learned during the way. Full blog post on my site.

All the chats at #NFTNYC have us thinking about how artists can use Splice to create additional new work for collectors who already own their art. In other words: Splice isn’t just for pfp collectors — you can use #genart that you already own to mint something completely new 🤩.

There are 7 creative styles to choose from so far. If you're a generative artist: add the next one 💪
We dispatched our very own @timothycbkr to #NFTBERLIN2022 and he found strange pieces of #NFT history, a speaker tank and the largest darkroom of #Berlin there as it seems. Who's helping him out with a deep chat on generative art? @NFTBERLINteam
Here are 2 projects Devi was mentioning while we discussed AI / GAN based generative art with her:
https://t.co/3suizrIIBe (@runwayml) is a video editor that adds stunning effects to videos
https://t.co/8XV9NYpVIf (@braindrops_art) is a dedicated #nft collection for AI #genart
Aaaand, Splice style number 7 is live and open for minting 💎. Thanks to @deviparikh for contributing "Crossroads" that's based on Truchet tiles. We're excited to chat about AI related styles in the future! #genart
Pleased to announce our next Splice, a #generativework by @deviparikh:
“Crossroads” generates a pattern based on Truchet tiles. The chunky strokes and coloring strategy de-emphasize the tiles and make segments appear to be paths, intersections, or dead ends.
Your favorite non-NFT artwork? I'll choose the work of @abhshkdz, a good friend who first introduced me to #generativeart back in 2017. Recently a few of us got together for a pen plotting party, he plotted one of the pieces from this series and it was beautiful to watch 🙂

Devi: I get inspiration from a variety of sources – colors of rare stones, textures of snake skins, graffiti, acrylic pouring, mandalas, looking out the window during a long taxi ride, or feedback from a friend. I also find making stuff with one's hands quite inspiring!
