All the Gen X uncs losing their minds over this will learn to live with reality one day. They'll eventually have to.
George won, they lost. It's as simple as that.
People need to stop pitching suits being added as DLC because I feel like the bare minimum is that suits from previous games should be included free in the game that's supposed to be a love letter to Batman
@GothamPaladin I'm ngl I forgot bat swarm even existed lmao. Between that and batclaw slam one shotting people I'm doing better now but these timers are still so tight😭
Yeah like the game is really fun but a lot of the Lego game magic is absent tbh. What if instead of unlocking new characters through the side activities you get to open two hundred chests to get minor gadget upgrades you'll never need
@kittischmitti Overall the implementation of the movies I wasn't a fan of. They did hardly anything with the movie material while simultaneously focusing almost exclusively on movie material for the story and it just ended up feeling key jangly more than anything
As small of an issue as it is, the game not having real guns is one of my biggest issues. The first game ends with a Joker suicide bait gag but now we can't even show a plastic gun
It’s actually kind of disappointing that modern day Lego games are so afraid of showing dark or mature scenes.
Had this game come out back in 2008, they would’ve straight up showed both of his parents smack onto the ground and then breaking apart into multiple pieces 😭
Legacy of the Dark Knight is so good but the grapple system is basically unusable. It's so hard to do what you want even when you give it 100% of your attention
I've been working on a video ranking every Riddler trophy in the franchise and I'm being so serious when I say there's maybe 80 good ones out of almost like 700
I really wonder what could possibly be used to convey narrative and themes. It truly is a mystery... Perhaps it could be "what happened" in the fucking story
The key to understanding “Media/Content Fandom Enjoyers” is that they view fiction as a literal transcription of events that took place in the fictional world. There is no such thing as author’s intent, cultural context, narrative and themes, etc. there is just “what happened”.
It's nice to see LEGO Batman also following the Arkham series in the fact that there's tons of really obscure DLC only obtainable through weird purchase methods lmao
If you prescribe a definition and then deny anyone ever using the word differently, your arguments will almost always be correct. Engage with what people are saying instead of battling strawmen
Powerscaling is not engaging with story.
It’s using minor details and fun facts to make an argument for a hypothetical scenario that you made up in your head.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight's early access release on PC seems bad. There's no preload and it's a rolling midnight launch because of Steam. So, if I'm not mistaken, my 72 hours of early access is actually 59 hours and this was not disclosed prior to the purchase?
There is a mind blowing amount of people in the comments of my Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video and reddit post claiming they got all of the skins in the game for free despite that being literally impossible
