Ahri is the highest pick rate mid laner, but her most popular setup might not be the best...

Across her core setup, less-picked alternatives with strong sample sizes are presenting higher WPA.

The standout is Lich Bane as a 2nd item.

After its 26.10 AP Ratio & MS buffs, it's looking like the better alternative over Shadowflame & Rocketbelt.

We also noticed Malignance’s WPA rises heavily when paired with Lich Bane 2nd, suggesting it could be a much stronger choice when paired up.

Boots follow a similar pattern too:

Sorc Shoes: -0.48 WPA over 258k buys
Ionian Boots: +0.97 WPA over 136k buys
