A Deery Situation

It’s 1998 and Sam is in a local library in a town called Deery. He is intrusted with the exciting task of researching a possible shapeshifter case involving a disappearance —

—the memories returned of what was supposed to be a closed case. He didn’t understand the full aspect a win back then, he just knew that when dad said we were done…the next case and motel was only down the road. He says to himself.

For some reason he happened to look down towards a sewer drain and for a split second he could’ve sworn that he heard a voice call out his name.

“Ok…yeah, to the library” he said to himself with a slight tinge of fear.

“Ok…Sam, get a grip and just do the job.”

Sam walks off heading to the local library while Dean makes the arraignments at the inn. The air begins to chill as Sam notices that there is no kids outside playing. He thinks to himself that this is odd being way past school getting out.

—pulls him in another direction towards the park. The rain begins to come down heavy as he begins to feel as if something is watching him. He turns and keeps on walking until he comes to a street with nice houses and again he thinks. “Why isnt anybody out here playing?”

“Oh, and Dean, stay away from the pie shop for just once until we get a line on just what is going on here. When have we ever had a vacation?”

Sam is feeling awful uneasy after they pulled into this seemly charming sleepy town.

“Yeah…since when has anything ever been a false alarm, Dean? You check us in and I’ll do some research on what is exactly happening here.”

His anxiety is starting to kick in—
