@abuzarali749@corbinwilliams@spencerpratt Karen Bass is about as progressive as it gets. Your reasoning also explains why you guys keep getting screwed over by the people you elect. More taxes for your hard earned money to go to friends of Bass and Newsom
@realitybeatfear@Alan_Couzens It has a small effect while in flight that should resolve quite quickly once you are breathing fresh air unless you have impaired lungs. Current flights sit closer to 1500 to 2000ppm vs older airplanes.
@Oxandrolonely@CoachDanGo The pharmacological class of HGH is growth hormone. I understand it is a polypeptide but that’s not the class of drugs it falls under. I’d still differentiate it and also because it’s not synthetic peptides like BPC 157
@CoachDanGo Peptides seem like they are best used when there is a deficit or absence of something due to age or disorder. Huberman just put out an amazing podcast on peptides worth a listen. Lots of education about how they work and what research still needs to be done.
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
@icecream8675309@aktrader2@AndrewKolvet It’s actually quite clear he was drawing a parallel to why we got into the war with Iran to WWI. His point is sometimes you make short term sacrifices for long term gains. For too long our government has acted only on what benefits their popular position and not done hard things
Two guys meet for coffee.
One is worth $50,000,000.
The other is worth $50,000.
Society would say the first guy is more successful… without knowing anything about their lives.
It seems absurd to pass that sort of judgement, and yet…
You and I fall into that trap every day:
—We idolize the rich and famous without knowing anything about their personal lives.
—We use those same narrow criteria to measure our own success.
Most people have never taken the time to define success for themselves. So they inherit society's definition.
I created a simple exercise called The Ideal End State to help you with that.
You simply bullet out your best life, with no constraints. Paint a vivid picture that can serve as your North Star, guiding decisions.
Here’s my Ideal End State. You’ll notice that there’s no net worth number on it. Nothing about fame or follower count.
I’ve gone through this exercise with dozens of people, from billionaires to broke people. It turns out that most of us want the same things:
Vibrant health
Freedom and control
Deep, intimate relationships
Adventure and meaningful experiences
Most of those things don’t require $50,000,000.
But they do require clarity.
P.S. A great life isn’t a birthright, it’s a privilege that it earned. It took me decades to get there. But one things’s for sure: you’ll never reach your Ideal End State if you don’t define it.

@DominickChille1@jubileemedia@RubinReport I’ve seen Don Jr. speak plenty of times and he’s plenty bright. I said highly unlikely because people that come from money are more typically well educated due to both resources and social environment. It doesn’t mean they belong at Harvard.
@DominickChille1@jubileemedia@RubinReport So your post wasn’t really about whether other people earned their way into college. It was just to throw shade at anybody with the last name Trump.
@DominickChille1@jubileemedia@RubinReport It’s highly likely that both Baron and Don Jr earned their spots because they come from a highly educated background. That doesn’t mean legacy admissions are ok or should be anymore justified than DEI.
@DominickChille1@jubileemedia@RubinReport UCLA school of medicine followed DEI for admissions for several years and excluded tons of highly qualified candidates in the process. They recently abandoned it because those students couldn’t pass boards. These are future doctors and you wonder why we have physician shortage
@bonchieredstate While I tend to agree this is definitely not a 1:1 comparison. Bernie wants to forcefully take over 50% ownership while Trump's involvement was more of a bail out and agreed upon purchase. That said, I'm not a fan of regular big government bail outs either, even w/ good outcomes
@frenstronaut@d1baseball@soldier_sports It doesn't matter who beat UCLA - Cal Poly advanced because UCLA lost twice. It doesn't negate Cal Poly advancing. Neutral or not you still punish teams for winning their regional by reseeding. Those teams earned it by winning at someone elses home field.
@frenstronaut@d1baseball@soldier_sports So punish the teams that already upset and knocked off highly favored and seeded teams. Kind of takes the joy out of it. Imagine doing that to March Madness - no thanks
