Thanks to the brown coal mine and electric power plant Bełchatów in the Central Poland, villages surrounding this industrial area are prosperous. Due to taxes paid locally by the national energy company, the authorities built a lot of infrastructure and introduced many programs.
There are sustainable tourism products already existing (i.e. Plemię Pilsian dealing with historical reconstructions, Solpark Kleszczów with pools, hotel and conference center, Góra Kamieńsk skiing slope at the artificial hill, education center Giganty Mocy, etc.).
The International Tourism Congress 2022 organized by
@unilodz and CiTUR is closed. However, a field trip which will be organized tomorrow to very interesting places is also an important part of the congress. Follow #ITC2022 for relations from tomorrow's day.
