It was a true honour to present our research at Spotify during #RecSys2024. Sharing our work in such a unique theatre setting was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone involved!
Thrilled to share our research at Spotify as a keynote speaker at RecSys in beautiful Bari! It is an honour to present at a conference so closely aligned with our work. Thank you for the invitation—truly a privilege and a pleasure! #RecSys2024@SpotifyResearch
Super excited to announce that AI Playlist is available today in the US, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand! Converse with Spotify to co-create a perfect playlist for right now or to listen to later! https://t.co/JvZL6yxM9O
🚨Hiring alert!
My team @SpotifyResearch is looking to hire a research scientist with a machine learning background! Come help us improve personalization experiences by integrating innovative generative AI technologies into our recommender systems. https://t.co/hPwvZo7SYP
I am overly excited to share that I will be traveling to Vilnius to attend @ECMLPKDD 2024. I will be presenting our work at Spotify on search and recommendation. This will be my first time attending this conference and visiting Lithuania.

Really looking forward to speaking at the #causal AI conference at The Royal Society later in September. I’ll be overviewing some of the latest research from the causal ML lab at @SpotifyResearch.
Also happy to share that "Encouraging Exploration in Spotify Search through Query Recommendations" has been accepted at #RecSys2024 (Industry Track). We explain how query recommendations were rolled in Spotify's Search, resulting in a 9% increase in number of exploratory queries.
Happy to share that "Bridging Search and Recommendation in Generative Retrieval: Does One Task Help the Other?" has been accepted at #RecSys2024. We show that a generative retrieval model leveraging the synergy between search and recommendation outperforms task-specific ones.
Delighted to share the acceptance of our paper "PODTILE: Facilitating Podcast Episode Browsing With Auto-generated Chapters" at #CIKM2024. This work was a great cross-disciplinary collaboration at Spotify.
Did a podcast with LinkedIn CPO @cohentomer. Was a lot of fun to hang out again and talk product, design and AI. Could probably have gone for hours :) Thanks for having me!

I had a lovely time chatting about all things causal inference on the @AIAwardsIrl podcast. Check it out if you're interested in learning about the problems the Causal Machine Learning research lab @SpotifyResearch is currently tackling 👇
Excited to present recent work from the Causal ML lab @SpotifyResearch, about estimating long-term effects when only short-run experiments are available (work joint w/ @notoriousgvg@lucasmaystre), at the first @nabe_econ Tech Economics Seminar this week.
Happy to share our latest blog post on our paper "Socially-Motivated Music Recommendation" presented at #ICWSM2024 this week. This work explores an alternative music recommendation task and its relation to cultural differences in music listening.
