Hello! Sprayer Mods is about to install our first spot-spray retrofit kit, and we're looking for more farmers interested in purchasing them! Our kit can reduce your post-emergence herbicide use 50-80% by modulating each nozzle depending on if a weed is present.

[Sprayer Mods @SprayerMods]

Our weed detection has 99% coverage (99% of weeds will be sprayed), and a 53% false positive rate (that is, it will spray approximately 2x more than needed). It can detect weeds 1 inches and above in corn, soybean, and wheat, but if your crop is not listed, we can easily add it!

[Sprayer Mods @SprayerMods]

Here are some examples of detections in wheat (weeds detected surrounded by black rectangles). You can see the perfect coverage, but occasional false positive.

We let you cut your costs by mounting cameras on the sprayer boom (~8 for 120ft boom), feeding images from those cameras to a weed detection algorithm, then sending a signal to open a solenoid and applying herbicide only if a weed is detected.
