This photo was taken last night outside the iconic Beresford on Central Park West, one of the most expensive apartment buildings in NYC at the entrance to @CentralParkNYC and across the street from @AMNH , spots that are visited by hundred of thousands of New Yorkers and tourists every day. It’s also by the bus and subway stops, with thousands of commuters coming and going.

Could not tell if the couple inhabiting the tent were actually homeless. They had computer equipment and expensive gear.

BTW Mamdani himself was at the same spot just a few days ago with an entourage just before the tent arrived. Too bad he missed it because we all know how quickly he would have taken action to make sure the law against erecting tents on city streets is enforced. Haha yeah sure.
