What a fantastic start to The Oliver Gale Washington Academy trip! We have seen so many memorials and museums, and we even got to tour the Capitol Building. We have 2 more exciting, fun-packed days to come! Stay tuned!

It's been a busy day! We started at Arlington Cemetery, from there the Natural History Smithsonian Museum and National Archives and finally the FDR memorial and MLK memorial.

Our day of traveling wrapped up with a visit to the Marine Corp Memorial last night. Students are well rested and ready for a day of adventure!

Day 4 started off with a calming walk around Mt. Vernon and then transitioned in to lunch at the Mt. Vernon Inn. Then is was time to head back home. Sadly, our trip has come to an end but students have made new friends and many memories along the way. Welcome home, Eagles!

Day 3, in the books! It was even more eventful than day 2! Our adventures included the Jefferson Memorial, the Capitol Building, the LIbrary of Congress, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and so much more. Enjoy a snapshot of our day & check back tomorrow for our final outing!

Day 2 presented many wonderful opportunities at different historical sites and monuments. Students were excited to visit the Air Force Memorial, Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery and many more. Can't wait for day 3!

The Oliver Gale Washington Academy is back! We had an exciting first day traveling and visiting the World War II Memorial when we arrived. Check back tomorrow for more!
